See the final deviation here Rainbow Powered Rarity final FOR SALE by aachi-chan

June 7 again - She's all done! When the cement for her tail dries I'll cement her to her final base and later I'll take nice pictures of her and the cheerleader ponies :D Tomorrow I'll get back to work on Queen Chrysalis but for now I'm taking a break because my neck huuuurts from bending over and painting such tiny detail for three days on Rarity and the Cheerleaders.

June 7 - Thought I would show what I painted on Rarity last night. I'll have the rest of her painted today. Just need to paint the details that I'll use pearl paint for. She will be for sale for $150 plus shipping once she's done if anybody is interested!

June 2 - All finished with the sculpting. Now just to paint her.

June 1 - I've been working on Rarity sometimes when the cheerleading ponies need to bake, cool or dry. I tried a few times to make the hair like she has in the show when she's rainbow powered, but that just wasn't working out, so I am going to sort of combine the two non-show rainbow powered designs that I found - basically taking the hair that's not much different than her usual shape and also the diamonds on the rainbow power form that I like better.

I was working on this the other day but I made the face last night while the armature for the cheerleading ponies was drying.

She is made out of a mix of Aves Apoxie sculpt, Super Sculpey and Super Sculpey Firm. Aves Apoxie sculpt can be bought here www.avesstudio.com/index.php?p…

How did you achieve the gradient on her hooves? Always been curious.
